TableChat MCP Server

Connect Claude to TableChat to search restaurants and dishes, check real-time table availability, and get direct links to place an order or book a reservation — all through natural conversation.

Overview

TableChat's remote MCP (Model Context Protocol) server gives Claude read access to restaurant, dish, and availability data across TableChat's platform, plus the ability to generate direct links for placing an order or booking a table. Nothing is charged and no order is placed by the tool call itself — every order or reservation is completed by the diner on tablechat-ai.com after following the generated link.

Use this URL to connect TableChat as a custom connector in Claude:

What you can do

Ask Claude things like “find me a good Vietnamese restaurant near Silver Spring” or “is Pho House open right now and can I get a table for four tonight?” — Claude uses the tools below to answer.

search_restaurants Read-only
Search for restaurants by cuisine, location, or name.
search_dishes Read-only
Search for specific dishes by name, cuisine, or dietary requirement.
get_availability Read-only
Check table availability for a restaurant on a specific date.
initiate_order Generates link
Generates a direct order link for a restaurant. Does not charge or place the order itself — the diner completes checkout on tablechat-ai.com.
initiate_booking Generates link
Generates a direct table reservation link. The diner confirms the reservation on tablechat-ai.com.

How to connect

Open Claude's connector settingsIn claude.ai, go to Settings → Connectors, or open Customize → Connectors from a chat.
Add a custom connectorChoose “Add custom connector” and paste the server URL above.
Start askingNo sign-in or account is required — you can start searching restaurants and dishes right away.

Data & privacy

The MCP server only exposes restaurant, dish, and availability data that's already public on TableChat. It does not access personal conversation data, files, or memory from Claude. See TableChat's Privacy Policy for full detail on data handling.
