Welcome to TableChat. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TableChat's website, AI-powered ordering and reservation platform, restaurant portal, and AI assistant integrations including our Claude MCP connector (collectively, the "Service"), operated by TableChat ("we," "us," or "our").
By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Service.
By creating an account, placing an order, making a reservation, or using any part of our Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
TableChat is an AI-powered restaurant ordering and reservation platform that:
TableChat acts as an intermediary between diners and restaurants. We facilitate orders and reservations but do not operate the restaurants or provide food services directly.
You must be at least 18 years old to use our Service. By using TableChat, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
You may place orders or make reservations as a guest or by creating a TableChat account. To create an account, you will provide your name, email address, and phone number. Account sign-in is via one-time passcode (OTP) sent to your email — no password is required.

When you place an order through TableChat:
You are responsible for reviewing your order before submitting, including items, modifiers, quantities, and fulfillment method (pickup or delivery). TableChat is not responsible for errors in orders resulting from incorrect information provided by you.
Because orders are transmitted to the restaurant's kitchen immediately upon payment, cancellations may not be possible once an order is confirmed. Refund eligibility is subject to the restaurant's policy. Contact us at support@tablechat-ai.com for assistance.
For orders with delivery, dispatch is handled by third-party delivery partners (Uber Direct). Delivery times are estimates and may vary. TableChat is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, or other factors outside our control.
When you make a reservation through TableChat:
Repeated no-shows without cancellation may result in suspension or termination of your TableChat account and potential charges if the restaurant has a no-show fee policy.
TableChat charges no commission or markup fees to diners. You pay the restaurant's listed prices plus applicable taxes, tip (optional), and delivery fees (if applicable). Payment is processed securely through Stripe.
Restaurant partners pay a processing fee on orders facilitated through TableChat, as outlined in their service agreement. The fee is deducted from the order amount at settlement. Pricing is subject to change with 30 days' notice.
TableChat operates a cashback loyalty program for eligible orders. Cashback balances are redeemable on future orders at participating restaurants. TableChat reserves the right to modify or discontinue the loyalty program with reasonable notice.
Our Service uses artificial intelligence (Anthropic's Claude) to process natural language queries, assist with ordering and reservations, answer menu questions, and provide recommendations. You acknowledge that:
TableChat provides a Model Context Protocol (MCP) connector that enables AI assistants such as Claude to access TableChat's restaurant and dish data, check availability, and initiate orders or reservations. By using the TableChat MCP connector through an AI assistant:

Restaurants are solely responsible for the quality of food and service provided, compliance with health and safety regulations, their pricing, menu, and cancellation policies, and managing their restaurant operations.
You agree NOT to:
All content on TableChat, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, software, code, AI models and prompts, and design, is owned by TableChat or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use, copy, reproduce, or distribute any content from our Service without our express written permission.
TableChat is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
TableChat is not responsible for the quality of food or service at restaurants, restaurant policies or pricing, health or safety issues at restaurant locations, restaurants' failure to honor orders or reservations, or any disputes between you and a restaurant.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TableChat and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, or data, personal injury or property damage, food poisoning or allergic reactions, or disappointment with restaurant experiences. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of TableChat shall not exceed $100 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TableChat and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any rights of another party, or your conduct at any restaurant.
You may stop using our Service at any time by contacting us at support@tablechat-ai.com to request account deletion.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to TableChat at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms, fraudulent or illegal activity, repeated no-shows, abusive behavior toward restaurants or staff, or any reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
We may modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and notify you via email or through the Service. Your continued use of TableChat after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.
If you have a dispute with TableChat, please contact us first at support@tablechat-ai.com. We will attempt to resolve the issue informally within 30 days.
If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, any legal dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
You agree to resolve disputes with us only on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in class-action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and TableChat regarding your use of the Service.
